Sorry to hear about this. It looks like many of us have had to go through this not that it makes it any easier on you. I've found that the only sure cure for the sadness is a new puppy . . . when you are ready.

So sorry for your loss. Had to have our 16 year old "house beagle" put down this winter. I still pick up my feet when I got to bed so I don't step on her. A year ago I had to put down my best huntin beagle due to cancer. I still tear up when I think about him. Just a little warning guys, don't bend over and kiss your dog goodbye and tell him you will meet him at the gate. I did and it broke up the wife pretty bad. But I meant it.

SORRY FOR YOR LOSS,i know how feel i had to put 2 of them down the first one was a
mutt & he lived to be17 & just last year we had to put down our yellow lab she was 14
and boy do we miss her we are still looking for another female yellow lab
