I've trusted this mech for awhile
I don't trust many
You have an HPO leak, fix the leak and then you may or may not still have injector issues.
The 6.0 takes a different approach to troubleshooting than old school 7.3s or Cummins 5.9. And completely different than a gasser. Just because there is an injector code does not mean an injector is at fault.
The definition of a contribution code means that particular cylinder is down compared to the others. A lot of factors can cause that, not just injectors.
Boy I hope this stuff you're 'throwing at it' is covered under some sort of warranty, otherwise you need to do some better diagnosing, and it starts with a scan gauge or similar so you can look at HPOP oil pressures on start-up.
A rebuilt engine from ford most likely has the new HPOP fitting, but like others have said, maybe not the dummy plugs.
We hired a former Ford tech at work, claimed to know the ins and outs of the 6.0 as we have a couple 6.0 F550, a few VT275 delivery trucks and a couple VT365 trucks.
Guy didn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground and no longer works for us.
Where is your general area, we have guys all over the states and Canada to help.
He doesn't want to listen to others
Even to you guys
I can understand his position, but since you've given $$$ already, yet the problem remains, as was suggested here already, perhaps a third opinion from another qualified place would be wise? Vs. Paying to continue playing parts swap for cash?
