The 300 is like a gas burning diesel.

Indeed! Forgot to mention my dads '89 F150 300 C6 That's getting a 6.9 swapped in soon though. And don't worry, not getting rid of that 300 engine, keeping it as a spare. Only has 80k miles on it, and engine is super clean, oil and rust free.
