Isn't it funny how someone brings up one topic and then a bunch of others spin off it. Anyway, I got a couple of bezels pretty cheap and thought I would try out some paint to help bring the chrome/silver look back on the trim. Here is some pics. Granted, It was my first time doing this so It's not professional, but not too bad for the time. In the pics you will see one that I haven't done anything to and the one I painted. I used House of Kolor silver paint from walmart in the model section.

Very tedious work.....I tried to mask some things off, but I think that did more harm than good in some spots. I don't think I scuffed up the plastic enough first, cuz the paint would streak alot, so I had to go over it multiple times. But, its a learning process. Thanks for the comment. If you have any pointers, I would glad to hear em.

Use Plastic Prep before you ink/paint it.

What did you clean it with?

I use a a very small amount of Lacquer thinner on a cotton cloth and wipe quick a
couple of times.

Since It was a trial thing, I just had some ammonia so I cleaned it with that. Probably not the best thing to use, but that's all I had at the time. I figured I could do it all over again if I had to. I like the color of the paint. The closest I could find to match the original. I should have put more thought into the prep, but I have that other one I need to do.

Laquer Thinner, I'll get some and use that next time. Thanks.
