My dip stick is riveted with 2 rivets to the handle. The break occurred on the actual dipstick at the rivet point of contact.
Ford claims they no longer have them. Anyone know where good aftermarket or actual NOS (New originals) can be had?
If an original OEM is needed/wanted obtain the current and/or any superseded part numbers then search eBay etc etc. The only issue will be shipping due its length and somewhat fragile nature.

I got a local Aircraft cert mech to fix it. he brazed it together. $10.
I picked the AP cert only because my experience was they were very particular and exacting with their work. Now its done and "So far so good".
Thanks for everyones advice. If it breaks again,Ill do as suggested with the "universal dipstick" suggestions
