Possible trans issues
1. From and dead stop with transmission on OD position if I go WOT it starts sputtering like it wants to take off but can't find the right gear it'll continue hunting/jerking until I let off and roll on the throttle.
2. From a dead stop in OD position if I roll on the throttle nice and easy it will accelerate normally.
3. From a dead stop with gear shift in 1 position and give WOT truck takes off as one would expect.
4. Doing 65mph in OD position and hit a normal uphill when transmission tries to kick down it again acts like it cant find the gear and I lose speed unless I hit the OD override on the gear shift then it shifts down accelerates and once I crest the hill I can engage overdrive again. same symptoms when driving on flat surface and attempt to pass.
4. While doing 65mph on the freeway speedo jumps around sometimes going all the way to 0 then jumping back up to 65 then may or may not fluctuate between 55 and 70.
Also tachometer sometimes doesn't accurately reflect engine RPM. wondering if some or all these could be attributed to sensor(s) issue. This is my first OBS truck but definitely not my first ford. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Could also be bad wiring between the two.
Also check the wiring going into the plug on the passenger side of the transmission.
Sometimes the TR sensor can do this also.
