B2low, is it 4x4 or 2wd if it is 4x4 you will have lots of trouble. But to get a lower out of a 2wd just buy shorter springs for the front and for the rear, flip the axle mounting perches and allow the axle to ride on top of the springs, if you are good with metal and tools the rear will cost nothing, but beware the truck is not designed to ride like this and your axle will hit your frame on harsh bumps if modification is not done. That is old school, you can also use bags and air if you want to spend more than the vehicle retails for. Personally I would Raise it 6 inches or so and park it on a honda's hood. But as for shaving it, weld sheet metal in all holes and fill all the seams left over, a modified power door lock mechanism can be used to open the doors with a keyless entry kit, if you want to you can use the mechanisms already in your door, just relocate them to move the handle bar inside instead of the locks. Your door has to shut and open better than new for all this to work. as for the interior buy the guts out of a newer wrecked mustang, and start your conversion, even using the back seats, I have not seen the entire conversion but I did the front half on my Nissan hard body pickup, and with a matching carpet on a custom box that was retro fit to the mustangs center console it was sweet.
