Steering problem

Okay guys need some ideas here, just bought a 79 f150 4x4. when driving down the road steering is real sloppy. turning right takes more rotation than turning left....could it be the steering box....any help would be appreciated..

Could be steering gearbox, leaf spring bushings, ball joints, bent tie tods, wheel bearings, front different issues, rag joint, steering dampener, misalignment, cup holder.
