Anyone have an idea as to why my air filter sensor keeps blowing out of the air cleaner housing? 2004 6.0 bully dog tuner with 4" turbo back exhaust. No hiccups or stutters or anything. This has happened a couple times, the first time it actually broke the sensor.
If so^^ do you have the Grommet piece that goes into the housing that the sensor slides into??
I assume its the grommet that's missing normaly theres Vac pressure there with Occasional Blow Back from letting of the Accelerator pedal to Fast or sometimes a Dirty turbo will over Boost and Blow Back into the air filter housing but Never Heard of enough to blow that Sensor out
But check that rubber grommet in the housing it could be damaged last time I had to put one of those sensors into the Housing it was Fairly had to Push in and NO Way it could back out on its own
Somethings up if it blows out. I managed to loose my grommet while the truck was apart. I wrapped the sensor with rubber(F4) tape and walked it back in the hole. it never blew out in the three days of driving until I got my new grommet.
