Hello to all; I picked up my truck one week ago today. So far, so good- no shudders, squeaks, rattles, nothing- no complaints- except for one. Last weekend, I took off the wheels to install factory mudflaps and lube the hubs and wheel studs. While the tires were off I noticed all four had dry rot cracks starting to develop about an inch above the inside bead only. The tires are Pirelli scorpion atr(20"). A quick google search was quite an eye opener! So, yesterday I took it back to ford( the truck has 132 miles on it as of today) and the service writer made a face when I told him why I was there. After about an hour, he told me he took pictures of the cracks and was going to call Ford find out how they wanted to handle it. I haven't had to deal with a domestic auto maker service dept. for 10 years- Am I going to have to dog this guy every other day to get this resolved? Secondly, I really don't want another set of this POS tires if they're going to do this every 2 years. What would you guys recommend as a replacement tire for someone who never goes off road? Another quick question: Is there a way to set the seat heating and cooling to auto start when you start the truck?(I'm talking with the key, not the remote) I am already tired of manually pushing the touch screen EVERY time I get in!
