Looking at your pics again I realized that not your front and back brackets are gone. I think if I remember because of the shape of the motor bracket my homemade fix wouldn't work. O gave in when the fronts broke and bought aftermarket. Sorry

I will try my luck this weekend. In case it doesn't go well -- what board did you go with? I want to keep it as stocky as possible.
I think I figured out how to work pictures. I will try to post some later today. The running boards I used were black plastic lighted ones from running board warehouse. Look them up for an expedition. Had to remove and trim some of the stock plastic pieces that trimmed the stock boards.
Pic of the board I got is in my album. I still haven't figured out how to post I guess. I'll keep working on it.
Thanks! They look good. I was unable to put them back..it was just too heavy and it didn't want to align right. I like yours, especially with lights. Thanks again!
edit: I'm not sure the forum policy for linking..please remove if it is against the rules.
Do you mean this for Expedition 1997-2006? Will it fit 2003 navi?
Those are the ones. Its a fairly good kit. It fits multiple years so there are different mounting holes in the bracket's. They do bolt on to the frame but you will have to do some minor modification to make it fit perfectly. Its all pretty straight forward and obvious once you start installing them . Took me about 3 hours to do. There is plastic body trim pieces in front and behind your stock board that need to be removed or shaved down. If you got the stock ones down I'm sure these will be no problem. Sorry for lack of specific detail on the modification I did mine last year.

No problem! This is a good information. runningboard warehouse is telling me that it won't fit without major modification. the word "major" concerns me.
Would you care to share the picture of your install? Did you have to drill any?
