ok....so my tps is at .32 volts at idle and will only achieve 1.99 volts at Wot....my question is will the hotfoot mod improve these numbers or should I replace the tps and then check again? I did adjust the ivs to click as soon as I touch the accelerator....thanks.
ok.....so I did the hotfoot mod anyway!! but my results were not so good...I was able to rotate the aps enough to obtain .44 volts at idle and only 2.58 volts at WOT....so I guess I will be off to pick up a new tps tomorrow......
TPS should approach 4.5 volts at WOT. I'm not sure exactly what you are asking but it sounds like something has already been modified as 1.99 volts is way out of bounds, about half of what it should be. Good luck on new tps sensor as they don't exist, unless you get the entire peddle assembly. After market ones don't work as the mount is in the wrong position for proper rotation and voltage sensing.
well I was actually just seeking advise on what to do.....so what you are saying is the tps sensors that are sold at napa, advance auto, koi, o'riellys ect....will not help achieve 4.5 volts at WOT? so why do they sell them? and what should I do?
well I kept messing around with the tps and was able to file out enough room to rotate it far enough to achieve much better numbers, and now I have smooth acceleration and power from idle to WOT.....much better!!
