I am having a hard time finding a transfer case shifter boot for my truck. it is a 69 F250. Right now it has a shifter boot with a chrome square piece over the hole. it does not fit properly. There is four predrilled holes in the transfer case. I am wondering if you know where I can find one that is not over priced and will cover this hole nicely.
All the stuff for these trucks is fairly cheap. Try and go buy something for a much newer vehicle than you'll see..

I totally believe you Orich. Over all these decades I've been a Ford partsman I've seen that Ford has ALWAYS used top quality and superior Rubber in all their Rubber parts. Belts,Hoses,Boots, etc. Prolly part of why Ford's parts are more expensive than the aftermarket crap. Years ago I had an ambulance company as a wholesale customer. The maintenance manager tracked a few ambos. One equiped with my Ford parts, Others with different brands of aftermarket. The Ford parts life so far exceeded the aftermarket stuff that He found it was CHEAPER to use the Ford parts. Can I hear an AMEN from the pews in the back?
