My transfer case shifter wont push down to get into 4 low. it is frozen beyond lubrication. would like to know if I cut off the little ear on the shifter would I have a problem finding the positions for 4-Hi, 4-2, and
4 Low. Thanks

 

Your best bet would be to take it off the truck and free it up. Thatis what I had to do with my 96.
