You might just have a hpo leak and a plugged heater core. My 03 s heater core is partially plugged. My ect is 190, no puking and I have little heat at idle. My oil cooler was plugged when I bought the truck. I flushed before I changed it. I think it knocked stuff loose and it got caught in the heater core.

You bring the truck to a mechanic for a hot no start and find out just about everything needs to be replaced, probably even needs new spark plugs. Like others said, get gauges, post numbers they show on here and wait on a response from one of the many 6.0 pros on this site. Then if you don't have em aleady, get some sockets and some wrenches and save that labor $$$. Were here to help you thru the repairs every step of the way. Sometimes you have no choice but to goto a mechanic, but always try to come here first.

Ok, I downloaded Torque pro. The coolant temp is at 177-183 degrees while driving. I pulled the cover off the heater core. The hose to the right on top gets warm-hot, the left top hose is cold. Air blows threw heater core. I ran a fault test and it came back: High lighted Gray-Power Train - null, FICM. Coolant level is at min cold, or Max hot when running. Not sure what other numbers I need. Advice needed. Thank you
