Power Steering Issues
Forgive me if I post in the wrong section. I have a 6.0L 2004 Ford Excursion. Almost at 150k miles, so some problems are appearing. Just replaced brake fluid line last week. Anyways, the power steering has been acting up. It appears we are losing fluid, and I know where. On the drivers side, just beneath the radiator, or going into it, right next to the coolant pepcock valve, it appears that the metal on the hose is completely rotted on the bottom half. It is obviously leaking there. I am not sure where all of the power steering hoses run throughout this truck, and I am not sure where to look. Anyway, does anyone have a part number for this hose? It really needs to be replaced before it bursts as I drive down the road.
