Do you really need to be able to go between 1200-2400 rpm? If not, you can just hook up a single pole switch and flip it to go to 1200 rpm. Lot cheaper...like $3. There are 2 wires under the dash that need to be connected, very very easy

If you want the upfitters, you can buy them from Ford. I found mine from a fresh wrecked truck, $30 for the switches, relays and wiring. I believe the package from Ford is around $150.

So I need a separate switch even if I have the item in the add from BD?
If so I like the sound of the single pole switch a lot better and the answer to the RPM question is no, I don't need any thing more than what is recommended for RPM when extended idling may occur, that's pretty much what I'm looking for. As far as the truck warming up from cold start it jumps up some anyway depending on how cold the ambient is some times it will go up to 1200 but when the engine reaches a certain temp (around 160* I think) it will start dropping back. Is there a sticky for wiring up the single pole switch? if so how would I find it? Thanks for any help.

No If you just want the 1200rpm you just need 1 switch. I can get it for you later if someone doesnt find it first. Its just connecting the customer access key on wire to the pto high idle wire

There are two ways to do a High idle.
You can do the PTO and add a variable resistor to adjust the RPM.
You can use the BCP and the RPM will adjust based on electrical needs.

But how ever you do it $60.00 for a kit is way too much money.
Even if you go for Max Over Kill on the switch at $10.00 that
would be expensive for this project.
The BCP option does have a line to light up an indicator LED if you want.

Also looking at all the things that are in that kit I would say max of $15.00
in parts and you would have left overs for other projects.

Thanks guys, just the simple single pole switch for the 1200 rpm high idle will work fine for me so if you can tell me how to find the wires I need to connect that would be great, or direct me to the sticky I'd appreciate it. Thanks for the help.

Tech folder (sticky at the top of the forum) has a link to it. All you do is give 12V to the control wire and have your park brake on. The switch/wiring thing is all you really need to figure out since you dont have upfitter switches.

I don't even think you need the parking brake on. Mine always worked without it

You can use the search and look for High Idle PTO
of you can cheat and use this link to the PDF.
https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/non-html/Q162.pdf

I used this one myself but used the BCP and not the SEIC-PTO.

Both will give you the RPMs it just how they control things.
BCP used the electrical system demand to set the RPM and
the PTO used a fixed setting or a resistor to pick what RPM
you want it to run at.

Thanks for the info guys, I think I can figure this out from here. Gotta wait until I get my pride and joy back from the body shop to try it though......long story, but I started using it to plow with some instead of my 99 F150 and realized a little too late that it is somewhat longer (and blinder backing) than the F150. A lesson bought and paid for.

Mine was free! I wired it to receive the 12v input from my running lamp switch. So, in park, parking brake on, and flip the running lamps on and 1200 RPM idle is in motion.
