I have a 1994 f150 custom. It is two wheel drive, long wheel base ,six cylinder, automatic. I wrecked it and ruined the steering box, right radius arm, right I-beam and the right radius arm bracket. I was wondering if anybody knows what year models would have the same front end? Thanks for any replies. Fletch
yup like said above, if ur gunna convert to 4wd, get a doner truck with the whole front end assebly and swap it over (front axle, transfer case, etc...). but if ur just going to return it back to stock then any 80-97 f-150/bronco 2wd will work.
Yes, 80 to 96 will work. I have an 84, 88, 93 F150 4x4's all with the same front brake setup. My 94 has a different setup. If your looking for a quick repair I would use 94 to 96 2wd. If your going 4wd any will do.
Before ~'84, the caliper was retained by a key with a spring and a bolt. After that until ~'95, it used 2 rubber-filled stainless clips. The Bronco went to a floating caliper (2 bolts with rubber boots) in ~'95, so I suspect the pickups did, too, but I've never checked.
The '87-88 D44IFS w/manual hubs was unique, so avoid it no matter what you do.
