Since your VCs are already off, fixing the romps should be easy. It's usually one or more bad GPs or UVCHs.

I forgot, did you get the 175/146? Tuning?

No i didn't get any tuning just got the ADs and the one AE but I changed my glow plugs while I was in there I did notice however the driver side UVCH got burnt up a little bit somehow but I cleaned the connections as best I could seemed to be ok but it was Sunday and everyone was closed could that be my issue? Because in the last thread they said it was ok to go AB to AD

Also I found a new injector harness from Dorman part number 904200 it looks to be the correct one and is only $26. I also called international and they want $45 what's your opinions on Dorman products?

Some Dorman products are OK but the UVCH's have been known to be not so good. I have heard tale of a few of them even being wired in the incorrect firing order though I have no direct knowledge of that actually being true. I would go OEM. The $20 difference is well worth the peace of mind.

If you're worried about the UVCH price... you're gunna love the VC gasket price. All kidding aside... your UVCH is done, and your VC gasket is highly suspect. I have seen a VC gasket completely fail with damage that looked minor (leaving the driver with a dead truck miles from home in the winter):

yes tugly mine melted but on the harness side not the valve cover side. and it was pretty crispy also. But I did install new valve cover gaskets. But I didn't think the injector harness was gonna be the way it is. I checked my bank acct and Im going to see if I can get the International harness. If im doing the one injector harness should I replace the other? the pass side harness didnt look burnt up especially like the driver side harness.

The other option means you'll likely go back in soon.

Quick question. I know I am replacing my UVCH's today after work but here is the question... Going from the AB to AD injectors could my HPOP not be suppling enough oil at start up and causing it to romp? I have the 15* pump on my e99

I know OEM is the way to go.. But I have been running the new dorman ones and they seem to be fine. The thing I like about the new Dorman ones, they are a one piece wiring. meaning the valve cover gasket and the harness are now one set up. no plug in harness so no more taking the valve cover off to check to make sure its not plug in. I know the OEM you can do the quarter mod or buy the clips. I have done both of those.. For me I'm just testing the dormans out and hope there is no issues. So far so good.

Im on day three of all 8 injector and HPOP replacement.
If you have autolite GPs you may be in trouble. My GPs were done 6 months ago and 2 are already so swollen that I cant get outta head.

ONLY USE FORD GP's

I used a harbor freight numatic brake bleeder to suck out the cycl before reinstalling Injectors.

5mm male allen socket will be your friend for retorqueing
