Electrical problem

I have a 2002 Super Duty. The power locks do not work, the radio stays on even after the key is removed and the door is opened, the dome light will not work until the truck is started and the reversing sensors quit working. I have checked all the grounds and all the fuses. Is there something I am missing? Could someone please help as I am stumped!

I had a 00 f150 that had similar problems. Has it been raining there. My windshield was almost ready to fall out and the cause of the problem was water dripping on the fuse box inside the cab. Took me a while to figure it out because it was never enough water to notice it on the floor but one day I saw a drop of water on the bottom of the dash. Go to the 99-03 powerstroke forum. They will know more about your truck.

Thanks MOOSE, I noticed I posted in the wrong thread and did change the forum. It has snow quite a bit but I did not notice any water when I checked the fuses. I will take a closer look. Thanks again.

I don't know. I just know it's a complicated electronic gizmo that often fails in the SD trucks, something about rain water getting through the hood and shorting it out or some such. Mercifully, the OBS trucks don't have one.

I only saw water inside the once. It took me about a year to figure it out. Ripped my hair out many times. Took it to an electrical specialist that replaced a bunch of parts and it keeps doing the same stuff. Then someone told me about his so I took it to the glass shop and it never did it again. If it is your windshield is the culprit you'll want to get it dealt with pronto cause that fuse panel is pricey. My friend had to do his but I didn't. Good luck
