Lightbulb Electrical Problem

When it rains hard at night the next morning my truck has a doesn't start right up like normal. Also, the radio only works when the truck is in park or neutral, if the heater switch is on the fan continues to blow after the key is removed from the ignition. When everything dries out everything is back to normal.

Any suggestions on this unusal electrical problem would be greatly appreciated.

Check for water leaks. Water leaks from around the windshield can cause all kinds of freaky twighlight zone problems. Water gets into the dash and causes condensation which creates havoc. There are control modules and the fuse box intself can be the culprit. Thats why when it dries out things return to normal. Also check the lid on the power distribution box under the hood. Check this thread, its for an expedition, but layout in dash.

Sounds like the GEM module is getting wet. Check the fusebox area for moisture.
