Well decided to use my dent to tow me and my trailer down to the show. She ran great! Not an issue in the least. I got some "action shots" of her that I'll hopefully get uploaded soon.
Ok I shpould've been more clear. The reason why I thought/ think it may have a cracked SOMETHING is because of a ferw reasons: Oil being pushed out the PCV valve, excessive oil consumption (think 2 quarts a week), a rattling noise (like marbles in a can) on startup, and gimpy acceleration.
Currently...well currently the gimpyness has gone away. Well, for a 351M in a supercab with 4:10 rear gears that is. It also doesn't sound like it's missing while its idling, and it doesn't feel like its missing when its driving.
So in short, the gimpyness went away with the quality ignition components. It does still have a slight rattle on a cold (overnight sitting) start, it does still smell like a damn refinery (wreaks of oil and gas when you park it or let it idle for a while), and it does still have oil that "magically" disappears. Add to that that the crancase seal is leaking. Not a ton, but enough to leave an 8" diameter puddle under the truck.
So could it use a new engine or a rebuild? Quite possibly. There is always the chance I didn't do the comp test right. Hell I did it real quick before I left for the show, so there is a good margin of error and uncertainty there. I will have to redo it again when I have more time to do it properly.
Looks good man, makes me want to take my dent on a road trip... If only I hadn't just gotten back from a 1600 mile trip in my dodge lol. As for your oil issue, she's just marking her territory
So I take it your blowing a bunch of blue smoke out your exhaust then? Either way nice truck. Definitely worth fixing up. Hell sell the Dodge for scrap if you have to. That way you put the money into the Ford.

Thats the funny part! No blue smoke, no nothing! Just oil stains down the bed and all over the tailgate. I'll have to get some pics of that too...
Are you sure your trans isn't leaking? Or got overheated and blew some of the fluid out of the vent? I've seen it happen. And like it was said before the oil loss is in the puddles where your truck marks it spot. Leaky valve covers and leaky oil pans can be a BIG problem. That 8" puddle is an example of that. No magic there.
