going tran crazy
i recently posted a trans pcm replacement problem and since had the pats compatible still had the o/d light flashing and seems to be stuck in a high gear although it shifts to N, P and reverse i got a cam sensor code and replaced that and still the same problems, I'm walking now, and the snow is piled high around my work area. looking for some feedback on possible problem and remadies before I drop the pan in search of parts in the pan or other things I can maybe check while I'm in there I'm not a total Dummy and been around cars for a very long time but owned only two Fords, this one is a 2001 F 150 Super Crew Lariot 4X4 auto trans with a 5.4 the trans was rebuilt to the tune of$3200 at 167K and is now 192K have had no problems until waking up to this in the driveway I WASN'T EVEN DRIVING IT. WTF ? can anybody help me? Sure Would Appreciate it.

one free thing to try, is to reset the computer, disconnect the battery and let it sit for a while and see if that changes anything. its free.. so, you aren't out anyting if it doesn't work.

maybe I am a dummy I haven't tried that yet. but the coder for my pcm and keys might have but I'll try again Thanks I guess I've screwed something up with posting because I don't know how I got to the Kansas Chapter I'm just outside Boston ,Ma. thanks again

RIDE TO WORK
THANKS FLIP BUT I WOULD NEED A JOB 1st LAYED OFF, THAT'S MAKING REPAIR OPTIONS VERY NARROW SO I JUST GOT OUT FROM UNDER AND SO FAR NO WIRING MELT DOWNS AND FLUIDS ARE GOOD (COLOR AND SMELL) SO I'M GOING TO WARM UP AND DRAIN AND DROP THE PAN LOOK FOR SURPRISES, U KNOW BEFORE IT SNOWS AGAIN.
