Hello, I'm thinking about putting a flowmaster 40 series on my 460 one ton. I have a glass pack on it right now hooked up right to the catalytic converter and it doesn't help at all. I was going to hook the muffler up to the cat but does anyone have any better ideas?

Will hooking the muffler right up to the cat make it sound worse or should I hook it up somewhere else?

I have like 3 feet of pipe between my cat and muffler. Then it's dumped before the axle.

My cat is 2 feet long and I have a glass pack on it right now and it almost comes out by the axle

That is how reg cabs are. Are you running ay sort of tail pipe?
