Front grille marker lights
Lately I've been seeing a lot of the Raptors around with the 3 amber LEDs in the top of the grille. I like that. I want to put cab lights on top of my truck but I really don't want to drill the holes...I think these could be a good compromise.
Has anybody else done this? I'm just curious what it looks like and what lights you used....

I think it is a bad idea to imitate others. If you want clearance lights add them many others have and don't have issues.
I think a Raptor with roof clearance lights are a bad idea and I think a SD with Raptor lights is equally as bad.

Honestly I don't really care if you like the lights or not. I didn't say I couldn't add cab lights, I said, I didn't want to. It's my truck I'll mod it how I like.

Just wanted to see what it would look like on a Super Duty. If anybody else has done it I'd love to see pics.

I think that could look good. Those light are too small though, I'd go for the LED style clearance lights off of a trailer, closer to the Raptor shape instead of just a pinpoint.

I did this a few years back...It looks way better at night..
I used Amber LEDs from Peterson Lighting #1268A. It cost me a total of $20 to do.

Yep, I like the rectangular ones better. I'm going to put some on the side under the rocker panel area, I can probably use the same lights.
I do 90% of my driving at night and for that matter on narrow country roads, so clearance lights wouldn't be a bad thing.

How are those held in the grille?

What I did was use a piece of plexiglas "painted" to bolt the LEDs to and than bolt that to the back of the grille. I did the same to the running board LEDs with that its easier to install as one unit because their is a lot of wire to solder.

Newer truck but the lights would still work, etrailer has them.
