After years of troublefree driving i have an issue. What sucks is its intermitant. Sometimes from a stop itll bog when i take off, or when im coasting and go to get on it again its got a weird bog feeling to it. Almost like its not getting boost. Boost looks good, runs smooth, but one time when i shut it down to see if it'd clear up i fired it back up and it took awhile for it to go, was bigging real bad. I disconnected the egr valve and tried it but no difference. Just did oil, and fuel filters this morning. The weird thing is that itll be fine sometimes, then others it bogs. Just started doing this yesterday. I have no tunes, all stock. Ficm is 47.5v. I did have a no pedal response issue. Sometimes it has 0 pedal response, then comes back to life in its own in a second or two. It hasnt done this for a long time but im wondering if its related to my new problem. Been a great runner for a long time, guess im due!.maybe a tps problem?. No codes or cel on. Anyone have any ideas?. I wish i had a cel on, at least that would point me in A general direction.i also need to add that when its doing this while im cruising and i let off the throttle the rpm's stay at 1500-1800 instead of falling below 1000 like they normally do. Also had some really harsh f-r shifts when it was screwing up, then all of a sudden everything is back to normal.

Reason: Added symptom.
Is that FICM volts at cold soak, KEy on, engine off, and what does it do when you start it cold, especially during cranking? I am surprised you don't have any injector contribution errors to show you an injector for these symptoms. Other possibility is boost is not building, ie VGT not working properly, or boost leak, or MAP or tube causing boost reading errors? Dash boss, or SG2 or get codes read?
Id swear the tranny was seizing up the way its running, then back to normal, then low power and erractic shifting again. No smoke at all though. Took egr valve out and it looked fine. Ill check fuel pressure tomorrow.seems to be building boost fine when its running normal. Its like someone throws a switch and it runs terrible. Sg shows no codes. It feels like its starting in od when i go to take off. No power, real luggy, unresponsive. Ficm is 47.5 all the time. When i put it in gear and try to power brake it in the driveway it wouldnt pull the hat off your head. Ill check all thats mentioned tomorrow. Thanks for the replies, itll give me a direction to go.

I'm new to the 6.0 but I had this same type of thing. Have you considered the relay that is under the hood on the driver side about where the fuse box is, you can unplug it while the truck is at idle and when it sounds like it's about to lose power, unplug it and see if the truck sounds better, then plug it back in and compare, it's a easy diy fix.
Check codes with an actual code reader. The sg is not a very good reader. A local parts store can help.

I agree with this, especially on an 04 truck. Definitely something going on that the SGII isn't showing you, even though the parameters show good. Sometimes it reports too slowly for intermittent problems to be seen.
Its not so intermittant any more. It idles good, but when i put it in drive the engine loses rpm's and sounds like its taking on a huge load. Then when i go to take off its unresponsive until i gain some speed. Ill find a real code reader and see if theres any ford specific codes in it. Thanks again for the replies.
No, they feel fine. Just went out and fired it up. Started with no problem, but when i put it in d it took on a load and died imediately. After it warmed a little i could put it in 1 and keep it running. Was blowing grey smoke like it was overfueling. I could watch the ipr climb as it took on the load. But when i put it in d it dies. This is getting really strange!. I programmed the xgauge but it doesnt show any dtc's. Should it show 0 or be blank if theres no codes?
