Afternoon all. Gave the truck a good run on the back roads upstate. Took her to the car wash this morning and washed the salt and grime off. Rewarded myself with two tall Guinness's and some wings over at Sliders in West Hartford. Now waiting for Corn beef and cabbage dinner. Happy St. Patrick's day. One day early have to do it today. Tomorrow is a work day.
Have you been to j. Timothy's in plainville? That is my first choice for wings. They sauce them, then fry, then sauce again. Adds a nice little crispness to them. Not overly spicy, great flavor that you can just eat and eat.
Evening guys.
Had to take my older son to the ER last night.
We were at a scout camp out and a leader behind him tripped and his head got squished between the leaders body and a tree.
He has a slight concussion and a broken nose.
But he is doing good and is proud of his first broken bone. LOL

I have been ready for spring for the last few weeks Tim.
Morning all. A little chilly out there this morning. I guess that south of us is getting a good amount of snow. This time I don't miss it because the truck is washed and looks nice sitting there in the driveway. Dam it looks pretty.
pretty sure my mechanic has given up...he has his friend whos a diesel tech at monaco ford dealer come help him before, and he said hes gonna try to get him up there again this week but besides that i dont think he wants to work on it anymore...so whats next, just bring it to ford?

Ford is a bit of a drive from here, Google says it's a good 719 miles to Dearborn. And I don't think they fix trucks anyway.
A better idea would be to bring it to a local independent Ford franchise for them to take a look.
Seriously, that really sucks. I've never heard of anyone with an issue that's as perplexing as what's going on with your truck.
Him either. He said hes had a few dead pedal issues but never this serious. The monaco tech coming to help him apparently won best diesel tech in the Boston area award and is their best tech...so im hoping he can find somethinf. Now ive heard the braking system is kntegrated with the voltage reference and that can kill a throttle pedal. I think a blownout left rear shock causes a dead pedal too
Damn Miles, hope the Ford tech helps. Interesting thought about the traction control, I know that some of the new tractors do just that using the ABS sensors to see wheel spin and cut the throttle. Was that an option included in the KR?
Thanks for the well wishes for my son. He is doing good. The dr. said to take a few days off from school to rest and then start with half days until he fells better.
Morning all.
Andy, I'm glad to hear the your son is doing better. It's hard when the kids get really hurt. Also hard to keep them quiet and rested when they are wanting to move around.
