Miles, Seeing how your gremlins seem to be electrical you might want to try bringing it to :

I've known many people who have gone to and swear by Chris for mysterious auto electrical nightmares.
Sorry to hear about that. What exactly are you looking for? I regularly peruse Craigslist and I'd be happy to keep an eye out for you.
I wouldn't say that I'm looking for anything in particular. I've just always been a big fan of classic super and crew cab trucks. It's not often at all that you come along one that isn't complete trash, or is in pristine condition and costs as much as a newer car. This would have been a nice opportunity to get into one for cheap and just tinker away at it.
Miles good to see you got the truck back. Sorry to hear that they really didn't find a cause. Maybe with all the connecting and disconnecting they may have corrected the problem. Keep your fingers crossed.
Me on the other hand cleared out wood and garbage on the side of the garage. Some places still frozen and other places ankle deep mud. (it's a wet area of the yard) Pulled out about a cord of wood that has sat there from 3 to 4 years, and growing some strange funguses. Straight to the land fill. Monday will get trap rock and lay down a area 6'x18' and 1' deep. Then put up the 6' x 18' kennel. Last I bought kennel flooring that I will lay after dogs water and done. This will be my weeks project.
Died on him again, he decided to focus on the MAF sensor which has always had a burn mark on the connector as long as ive had the truck, and as soon as he unplugged it, pedal works...plugged it back in...pedal died. i dont really care what happens at this point, as long as i get it back today
