Howdy from Oklahoma!
Hope ya'll are thawing out, or at least thinking about thawing out. Lol.
We're ready for spring. The bulbed flowers are popping out of the ground and giving color contrast to the dormant brown grass. C'mon warmer temps.
On another note, whatcha think about Charla Nash trying to get permission to sue the state of Connecticut? She's the one that lost her face and eyes and hands to the wild chimp a couple years back. Personally, i'm sorry she got so hurt by that wild animal, but......she chose to put herself so close to a dangerous wild chimp. If the chimps owner/daily care taker was too afraid to approach the animal, when it was going mad, then Charla had no business putting herself in that spot. I don't think it would be fair to all the tax payers in Connecticut to foot the medical bills for the millions of $$$ it is and will take for all the face and hand transplants, and all the other medical and rehabilitation costs. Not trying to sound mean or uncaring, but I don't thinks it's fair to make the tax payers pay for all that. What do you Connecticut-ans think?

Well howdy Ron!
No doubt it's a tragedy what happened to her, but suing an entity that had absolutely nothing to do with the loss seems ridiculous at best. ANY animal can be dangerous, and sometimes "stuff" happens. There's no reason the state of Connecticut owes her anything in this case.

Tried washing the truck this evening, but since it dipped below freezing I'm not sure how good of a job I did. By the time I was brushing the truck the water I rinsed it with was freezing to the exterior. So I think I spent some time scrubbing down a layer of ice instead of paint. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow.
