Scott Kerrmydog is from the Bullhead City area of Arizona. Well, he is living there now, I don't know if he is "from" there. LOL. No, it was not Edwards AFB, although I did pass by that base on the way to Bakersfield. It was the Mojave bone yard at Mojave Airport. I had pulled off the freeway because the signs said gas and food, (ARCO and McDonald's) but found neither, so I stopped to take some pics and then headed back to the freeway to look for another spot to get gas and food. That is when I stopped in Tehachapi and saw the trains, and then the famous Tehachapi loop, or part of it, since you can't see the whole loop from the 58.

Hank, good thing you did not blow up the house (or yourself!)

I used it as an opportunity to take some pics. I think I took more pics there, then I did anywhere else during the trip. LOL.

Happy Thirsty Thursday Nor Cal FTE. Drink an extra one for me!

I get to go to t he DMV today. Have an appointment so it should not take long. Paying the registration on the Bronco, and putting the XJ6 on a non-op.

TGIF Nor Cal FTE! Hope everyone has a blessed day.
Went to the DMV again today since yesterday was a bust (their computers were down, so no transactions possible) and wouldn't you know it? I forgot the paperwork for the Jag. So now I have an appointment set for Tuesday at 9am. Was able to get the Bronco registered though, so now it's good until April of next year.

Getting warmer down here. Had to turn on the swamp cooler yesterday, and just turned it on again today. What happened to spring? Winter is not officially over yet, and I am already running the swamp cooler.
