I know something a postmaster doesn't it, makes me feel smarter!
That's not hard to do been working from dusk to Dawn , then when I get home there's farm work Irrigation, disc, spraying, feeding . O well I'll do it TomarrowLOL
Just found out something interesting tonight. A 1993 Ford Bronco with the 351 engine has a top speed of 90 mph according to Ford. After all, the speedometer only goes up to 90 so it must stop there. That is not the interesting part. What is interesting, is that a 1995 Ford F250 4x4 with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine has a top speed of 180 mph! I know this because Ford put a 180 mph speedometer in it.
Why on earth would Ford put a 180 mph speedometer in a diesel powered pickup truck. That is so ridiculous. Must have super tall gears since it redlines at 3,800 rpm.
When I worked at Budget rentals, we had a Cadillac Seville that had the digital dash, and it had a switch to go back and forth between mph and kph.
Rick, found out from my mechanic that a trans pump is the most expensive part of the transmission. Also found out that he can replace the pump seal, so I will not have to take it to a trans shop.
Sweet Jim. That wouldn't be bad then. I was told it was a reman that was installed about 50k before I pulled it. It looks to be but I have no way of proving it.
Well, that would be awesome if it was, but I would not know how to prove it either. I guess my mechanic can tell me when he puts the new seal in. He already doesn't like the idea, of me buying the truck or the trans, so maybe this will cheer him up a little, and the news that the truck does not have 400k miles on it.
