Back in a bit. System trouble.

Its not fun Tim. Concerns the fire alarm system. Big headache right now.

 

That is a huge safety concern. Who's head is going to roll?

 

No ones head Tim. Just something causing an issue that it doesn't like. We are trying to trouble shoot it to a point but the fire alarm tech we have might have to come in or send in the other service provider which is the vendor. I'm just waiting for him to call me back. He had to make some phone calls real quick. Howdy Devin.

 

Devin is still in Feb. I invited him over to March

Me too. Looks like he got on with the VFPD. Very cool. I am sure he will have some stories to tell!

 

Haven't started any training yet, but definitely been busy! The new job is 8-5, then business meeting/truck check/drills at the station on Monday nights, going to the gym after work 3 days a week, plus my usual running around.

New job is different, but definitely a good place to work.

 

Looks like a nice setup. How does the computer station in the corner stay clean?

 

That's what happens when you get busy! You lose track of the days!

Shouldn't be long. I'll be real happy when I actually manage to gear up and work a call.

It doesn't I keep my old laptop in the top of my Mac box too. Use it to stream music, stocks, and FD/EMS radio.

 

I figured it got dirty when I saw that brown fire extinguisher!

When do you get to work a call?

 

I'll work a call when ever I'm able to make a truck. We've had 3 calls since I got on. I could get toned any time now.

 

Should be fun. Have you gotten to at least do a ride along yet?

 

Only truck I've ridden on is the new Rescue Pumper this afternoon.
