Windsheild washer sprayers

My sprayers for the windsheild washer fluid are clogged or something so they will not spray.... Anyone know where to buy new ones or fix my current ones?

Pull 'em and use compressed air to clear the passages. Insert your air gun in the outlets or the "reverse" direction. It's usually a piece of trash lodged in there.

Still kaput? Soak 'em in CLR or Lime-Away to dissolve the calcium build up. Sometimes it's actually the windshield washer colorant that gets builds up in the passages. Regardless, the CLR or Lime-Away will prolly clear 'em. Again, compressed air to blow 'em clean.

Good luck.

People pore tap water instead of distilled water into the washer reservoir, calcium buildup begins.

Polish/wax can also clog up the sprayers (washer jets). White vinegar will also clean 'em out.

Also...check the rubber hoses for cracks where they attach to the reservoir, jets and washer T (17A601).

Thanks Guys!

I will pull them tmrw and soak them in some white vinegar first.
Hopefully that fixes it but if not i will move onto the brake cleaner.

I have already found that the nozzles are clogged since there are no leaks else where.

My passenger side was clogged recently. I pulled the sprayer and operated it to make sure it came out of the hose. I used a fine wire from a wire brush and dislodged what was in there. Reinstalled and it works fine now.

Fine wire did it for my pass side also. I believe it was clogged with the blue colorant as posted above.
