The truck one fits ...but I had to set the motor on the oil pan on the crosmember and a block of wood on the front for a second whilst I pulled the cherry picker forward to change the pickup point on the chain to angle it just right ..then once the oil pan is past the crops member you readjust the Chery picker to the middle again ... and angle the motor to the transmission... I also had to jack up the front of the van by 3 Inches ... ..basickly ya have to do a little dance but all in all it went in smooth as butter.. spent some time today (3 hour )putting the intake back on, the coils, then the wireing harness and conecting the conectors and then puting the front subframe / radiator suport back on...then the rain came so work stoped .. tomorow is suposed to be dry hopefully .. so i have a job to go to in the am then back at it and hopefully have it running by the evining ......fingers crossed

Here in Ohio we've had the starts and stops due rain for a few weeks now--tough to really dig into an outdoor project knowing there's a good chance we'll be interrupted at some point.

Hoping your start up goes great!

Sounds good Tim! I'm surprised the truck oil pan fit, and looking forward to you getting it running. Post up a video of the initial start-up!

Great news then----has to be a huge relief when it fires up that easily first crank!

No idea where that vacuum line would run though.

Really great to hear that you got it going Tim! No idea on the vacuum line though. Was it present on the factory engine?

so i broke down and just bought a haynes manual lol ... lets find out where this conector and vacume line and one other line go lol....

yes it is a huge sigh of relief when it fiers up first try

the block and intake plenum are off the new truck ..the valve covers and throttlebody, injectors and wierharness are off the old motor..so everything should have a home

oh well ill dig through this manual and find out where thier little friends are located lol

this is the other end of the green arrow tube

here is the one connector that does not have a home .. i am perplexed as to where it goes

front of motor with no air cleaner and no the white connector does not go to the air cleaner

I'd maybe post your photos of motherless connectors and hoses on the V10 forum---someone there probably knows what's what almost immediately.

Your finger points to a service port for the A/C system---not sure why or how its hose or end isn't more consistent with material typically found in those systems, looks more like plain heater hose----from here anyway.

So the connector that didn't have a friend was the second collant temp sensor ..it is located behind the thermistate ..hence why I couldn't find it .. my Nebour who had a scan tool read the code as coolant temp sensor inop ... looked at the old motor ..found a connector that would have been hidden ..went to new motor installed in van and felt it and yereka moment happened...pulled off alternator and installed plug ..everything running good ...

the hose is for the emissions thingy (evap) I think I know how it is supposed to go but right now it is not effecting driveability ..anI have a busy day tomorow repipeing a friends house sI will try to figure it out later on Sunday or next week

van runs so smoth ...smoother than the old motor ... now to take pics of all the old parts and sell them
