Guy this dude at work keeps talkin **** cause he has a 355 in a 80's gmc I have a 69 460 out of a lincon in my bronco its stock besides the 850 dub pumper an hedders an I don't have money to take it to get bored or aluminum stuff for the top end so I was gana port an polish my heads an I wana put the biggest cam an lifters thats compleatly over kill an un-called for in it what would the biggest size cam I can go with a stock set up

lots of factors to consider here. lumpy cams dont necessarily make power either.

that 850 seems to big as well. are you running the stock intake as well?

give us more info on your rig, tires, gears, trans, exhaust etc..

An 850 double pumper on a 460?!? Unless you already have a lumpy cam and high numerical rear end gears that carb is not going to perform very well. Considering the rest of the engine is stock, I would suggest something like the Edlebrock Performer cam and carb setup.

I would replace the 850 venturies with ones from the 1100 CFM and then get a cam with a 650+ lift and a 300+ duration....grin (joking)

for a few bucks you can install a 75hp nOX kit...........
