hard to start after new injectors.
Put all new injectors in my truck today, took a lot of cranking to get it started 1st time. I've shut the truck off a couple times after it warmed up and its very hard to get it to start. It will start if u give it a little throttle and it revs up upon starting. Any ideas, drove it about 5 miles and been running 45 mins. Injectors are full force from clay.

Update: after installing this new injectors my miss went away but the truck now idled lime crap. So after trying everything I know I gave in and took it to my local diesel shop. After they went over everything on the engine they pulled the injectors and had them sent out for testing. Came back with scored nozzles! After 50 a piece for repair and shipping they are on their way back. And before you ask my truck gets a new fuel filter every 5k miles and has a filter pre pump with the hutch and harpoon mod. Not happy to say the least. With labor and repair I've tacked another 1000 on the cost of the injectors. Should have just bought new and been done.

Another convert. I'm sorry you had to go through that... but you're not alone with your choice, your misadventure, or the lesson learned. Please share this when it comes time to offer feedback to injector shoppers in the future. I beat the "new" stick drum pretty hard.
In case you're curious: I traded my remans in for credit with FFD, and kicked some considerable cash Eastward to get all new. I'm pleased with those results... new sticks are soooo different.

I think they do new nozzles on their remans, and they have earned their good rep. Bear in mind, all these injector guys (no matter who they are) are absolutely buried with a bounty of business... so quality control can suffer. It's possible there's scoring on the nozzles from air in fuel... or lack of fuel additive - I really don't know this one.
