6.7mpg

I need some help on the new 6.7 F-250 and 350. Iam looking at getting a new F-250 or 350. But not sure what kinda MPG these trucks get with 373 or 355 gears in the rearend.. I have now a 2008 F-350 dually crew cab 4x4 and get around 11.2 MPG with 411 gears in it. Can some of yall give me some info that have the new 6.7. Thanks....

I got around 18ish on the highway with the 3.55s. I think I remember averaging 15/16 when I was stock. My lowest average was 14.5.

I just got a new F-250, so I don't have many miles on it yet, however, it is getting about 20-21 highway, and 17 mixed so far.

alots gonna depend where you live flat or hill . you may see 20 mpg on flat , a little hilly you will be lucky at 16mpg. around town will be worse of course.

I'm happy with it so far, but I'm still getting experience with it so I don't know how mpg will play out long term. However, that is similar to what a friend of mine was getting in his 2011. Mine is a 2014 4X4 crew cab short bed with 3.55 rear end. I love the truck, rides and drives great, tons of power!

I live in a foothills type area, so some hills. I have not had much start and stop driving in the truck yet, but I can only imagine that will kill the mileage!

FYI, SRW 6.7 powered super dutys gear options are 3.55 & 3.31.
Mine gets 19ish on the highway with modest loads (3.55 gear), 11ish pulling our 13k fiver.

The 2014 350 I was looking at had 3.73 gears in it. So in other words I need to find a 250 or 350 with a 3.55 rear end to get the best MPG? I will be driving more with the new truck rather than my 08 350. I did not know that they made a 3.31 gear in the new trucks. Just wanted to make sure i get the right gear for my driving.

Must have been a dually? Or a gas engine to have those gears?

3.31 will give the best mpg, but I hear there isn't that big of a difference.

4x2, dually, crew cab, long bed, 3.73's:

Rural/town - 16-17 mpg
70 on the interstate - 18.5 mpg
65 pulling our 15.5k fifth wheel - 10-11, depending on wind

Slightly hilly terrain, not in the mountains, not in the flatlands

Gained about 2+ish mpg. I see 21/23 on my highway here, driving 90km/hr. Speed limit is 80

And thanks

Yes it was a dually with the 3.73 gears. Thank y'all for the great info. I will go with a 3.55 or 3.31. Again thanks for the fast response. If I run into any other issues I will ask again for some info. Thanks...
