Replace 460 with 300

Hi have a 1990 F350 Extended Van with a tired 460ci engine, it has a overdrive tranny and I'd like to know if a EFI 6 cyl will bolt up to this transmission...

Replace 460 with 300

Don't think it will. A 460 would have the BB bolt pattern and the 300 would have the SB bolt pattern.

Replace 460 with 300

definitely wont bolt up you need small block case. You'll also need new frame mts. radiator,and some other small parts and unless the 460 was dead you'll notice a huge difference in power.
