Ummm, 3.5 EB motor, manual shift option like the F150, front end redesign, new dash, larger Nav, new interior option. I'll sell my 2013 and pick up a 2015. Appears I'll be the only one.
it's interesting no one has mentioned that the suspension seems to have been improved by leaps and bounds. No one will know until they use it but I'm interested to see the improvements. I wish they bumped the towing capacity some too or at least the tongue weight capacity.
I'm cautiously optimistic about sales growth with the new engines and a few goodies but I'm greatly disappointed that Ford basically painted lipstick on this one and called it new.
Truth be told, i would have been money ahead if I had bought and F-150 Screw instead of our Expy back in '04. The biggest difference to me is seating for 8 in the Expy. I've done that twice in ten years.

there is nothing new with the suspension. it's the exact same suspension that has been around since 2004. just fancy new name. the only difference between a 07-14 model and the 15 is the stability control stuff.
that isn't leaps and bounds. that is just application of a function that the F-150 has been enjoying for 5yrs or so
If you were to create a 2 column format of features for a 2008 Expy and a 2015 Epxy...you'd be hard pressed to create "exlusive" 2015 features. discount the gussied up interior colors/materials...about the only true difference between these is the fact that there is FINALLY a new motor...after being in there since what, 1998?

Actually the suspension on the '03 - '06 models used forged aluminum control arms and the '07-current has become a bit cheaper and lighter with stamped steel control arms.
The Expy would be far more attractive if the front clip was the same as the F-150. If you walk on a Ford dealers lot and examine the entire inventory, the Expedition stands out as the most outdated vehicle in the lineup. Even the Mustang got a complete make over.

Man this site is full of stupid or ignorant, not sure which it is but it is annoying. You may want to spend less time thinking you know everything and more time reading. The suspension has been overhauled and is now running a realtime system similar to the newer Lexus or Rover. You have user selectable ride settings did the 2003 Expedition have that? Then let's note the Platinum model wait...it also has a Blind spot system with cross traffic detect. Here's an excerpt on the suspension:
New continuously controlled damping, available for the first time on a Ford nameplate, will make Expedition the only Blue Oval-branded vehicle in the United States with three selectable drive modes – comfort, normal and sport.
Using a suite of sensors that detect 46 unique body, steering and braking inputs, the advanced suspension monitors body motion and then adjusts Expedition’s damping system in milliseconds to manage the vehicle’s natural body motion. A vehicle with poor damping feels as if it is bouncing on its suspension springs; continuously controlled damping recognizes the weight of the vehicle, steering feedback and road undulations and then reacts accordingly, helping to control body motion so passengers experience an orderly, comfortable ride.
Yep you are right...all new suspension that came out in 2003.
There is nothing quite as sad & annoying than someone that jumps ship, then sticks around to complain about their old vehicle.
Find a Caddy-site and enjoy your truck.....
Let's also point out it's a 2005, and probably clapped out, 2005 is a old antiquated one from 3 platforms ago. I guess if he spreads mis-information about what's new he'll feel better about what he has.
