I have a 94 f250 4x4 ext. cab 8 foot bed with the Dana 50 4600 front axle. My original wheel hub on my passenger side was junk so I bought another one. Now my problem is it doesn't sit right on my spindle it woobles. The bearing and race are to far back. Leaves a gap between bearing and wheel seal. Farther looking in to it. I see it does not match my driver side. Bought another one same problem. I'm not lost on all this. They both came off 90s Dana 50s. Even tried a Dana 60 hub no good. Can anyone shed some light on this?? Can't get my pictures to appear on here. I can email them if needed. Thanks
You say it wobbles. Are the bearings tight against their races or are they not seating on the race?
I think there is supposed to be a slight gap between the inner bearing and the lip of the seal.
Is it possible the original junk hub has damaged the spindle?
Bearing and race themselves are fine we installed new ones to see if it would change but it didn't. Spindle is fine to we put the original driver side on and It sat on there perfect
Extended cabs all came with D50's and I think the mounting for a D44 is different, but still, anything is possible. D50 and D60 hubs are the same hub so there is definitely something funky going on here.
