Focus more on updating the STC fitting than the Dummy Plugs.

The STC fitting attaches to the HPOP and directs the high pressure oil to the branch tube.

It's known to blow and leak on 05+ engines. With everything torn down for EGR/Oil coolers it makes perfect sense to spend the $60 or so and update it at that time.

With digital gauges it is fairly easy to see when the Dummy Plugs are failing, and sense they aren't very difficult to replace it isn't a must do it now item as the STC is.

What kind of coolant are you going to put back in it?

I've already had my cooling system flushed out a couple of weeks ago and replaced the coolant with EC-1 and installed a XDP coolant filter .

Good to hear you've already flushed your cooling system already.

Already done, doing both coolers in about a month.
