My F250's a/c unit was DOA when I bought it and I don't need a/c in a snow plow truck, so I am removing all components as I find time.
For removing the condenser, my Haynes manual says you have to drain the radiator - has anyone removed theirs and did you drain the radiator?
I understand the condenser is bolted to the rad. and the rad. has to tilted back to pull the condenser out but seems like you could do that without draining the coolant!
When I replaced mine I had the radiator out. I'm not sure if it can be done, but if you remove the top hose you will be able to tilt the radiator back more and not lose too much coolant.
