So I changed out my dome/map lights out with some LED ones. The map lights work, but the dome and cargo light won't work now. I got in the truck and started it up, and the truck won't shift into reverse. The lever is stuck, just like if you tried to put it in gear without pressing the brake, and the little screen that displays the temperature and all the climate controls doesn't work, heater won't come on.
I can't think of any way this could be related to me changing the dome lights but WTF it drove perfectly fine before. Possible I blew a fuse? I went through and checked all the fuses with my DVM in the cab and all the mini fuses were good. I don't know how to test the big relays or the pink fuses. And I didn't test the fuses in the engine compartment. Can anyone get me off on the right track here please?
Brake-shift interlock
This vehicle is equipped with a brake-shift interlock feature that prevents
the gearshift lever from being moved from P (Park) when the ignition is
in the 4 (ON) position unless brake pedal is depressed.
If you cannot move the gearshift lever out of P (Park) with ignition in
the 4 (ON) position and the brake pedal depressed:
1. Apply the parking brake, turn ignition key to 2 (LOCK), then remove
the key.
2. Insert the key and turn it to 3 (OFF). Apply the brake pedal and
shift to N (Neutral).
When the key is in the ignition and in the OFF position, the
automatic transmission shift lever can be moved from the P
(Park) position without the brake pedal depressed. To avoid unwanted
vehicle movement, always set the parking brake.
3. Start the vehicle.
If it is necessary to use the above procedure to move the gearshift lever,
it is possible that a fuse has blown or the vehicle’s brakelamps are not
operating properly. Refer to Fuses and relays in the Roadside
Emergencies chapter.
LED bulbs must be inserted correctly due to the polarity, positive to positive and negative to negative. Having them in backwards will cause them not to work, and I would think could cause other issues.

Will try this, then I guess I need to check my fuses in the engine compartment as well.
Yeah I noticed they had to be put in a certain way for them to light up, and I had them working before I re mounted the dome light then I got it all on and tried to turn them on and nothing?
Did you try putting the old bulbs back in? I can't imagine the LED's themselves causing problems like this, what happens when a convention lightbulb burns out under normal conditions...
