Having an issue with my 04. Wife got in the truck to move it and no dome lights no crank nothing. Swapped the battery for a new one. Still nothing.
i checked all fuses.
I literally was just driving it 10 mons prior to her getting in it. Said dome came on for a second then shut off.
Any ideas???

Bad battery cable or their connectios. Get out the multimeter and check them.

 

check cable ends (terminals/grounds) for corrosion and very power at the fuse panel.... do you live in a colder climate and or moist climate.. the back sides of the fuse panels can corrode and cause this issue... Just my .02

 

this will be a good read....keep us posted. would be good to know if the battery involved is fully charge.....google battery state of charge test...you basically disconnect the battery and get the at rest volts. if the battery is fully charged...you can focus trobule shooting else where.
