Header interchange?
I just bought a '77 F150 Supercab 2WD with 400 and C6. I already own a '78 400 regular cab 4WD with NP435 manual. The supercab is pretty stock, with manifolds. I would like to buy nice ceramic coated headers for the regular cab and put the old one's from the regular cab, 4WD on the supercab. I would like to know if my 4WD headers will fit on the 2WD? Looking on line, it seems most headers come in 4 or 2Wd. I understand a 2WD will not work on a 4WD, but what about the opposite? Thanks in advance.

I would call the tech line of the companies that sell the 2wd or 4wd headers and talk to them.
I would say that the difference in stating that headers are made for a 2wd or 4wd are for a difference in the design and fit.
As part # cross ck should do the trick.
