headers: 2wd vs 4wd

headers: 2wd vs 4wd
Whats the difference in a 2wd and a 4wd header for an I6? I see a lot of headers made "for 2wd only," but Clifford has the only 4wd header I've seen. I am putting together a 300 for my 2wd 79 F250, but if it turns out to be a good tough motor like I'm hoping, I might put it in my 78 4wd. I'll be more than a little upset if I get a 2wd header and it doesn't fit, but i can't think of anything that would cause problems. Anyone with some info out there?

I believe the difference is where the header comes out. I have a Hooker Super-Comp which is made for both 2wd and 4wd. Looking at the fitment of it, I might have to do a little bending to get the upper exhaust above the tranny crossmember while the other will go below.
