OK, I feel like an idiot now... courtesy lights? Are you saying there are lights that illuminate the floor? All I was aware of was the dome light, but it'd be nice to have some extra lighting... Maybe a nice addition.

Pics and drawing definitely help, but are our trucks (mine is '73 Camper Special) supposed to have these from the factory? Drac's first pic shows it mounted by the parking brake release, I have a trailer brake controller right there.

Yeah like I said Im not 100% sure those are the exact holes to be used. those pics are from a truck I saw in the Junk Yard last year. I bought my courtesy lights off Ebay a few years back. I took the pics cause I too wanted to know where to mount them. The pics just happened to still be on my phone. Right now my lights are hanging around the neck of a NOS bottle on the bench.

If the locking hood stuff was complete, I'd a grabbed it. Still know where it is. the owner is a good old friend of mine. I used to work there in 84-85
in fact those courtesy lights are still there too.

Locking hood release and the courtesy lights are parts alot of folks want.

It'll most likely be spring before I go back. I'll check with ya, see if you want em. Up here in Northern Michigan, there just isn't much of any dent left.

I think the pics are right. From all my searching, the round knock out looking holes is where they go. There is a threaded hole there to screw them in. Thanks for the help guys.
