As others have stated there won't be any signs unless you use it to clear codes (I don't know if it does that or not, my BT Torque Pro will). When you clear codes the PCM records when the last time they were cleared (elapsed engine run time) and miles traveled since cleared.

Irregardless, I always remove any hint of my Torque Pro adapter (or my Edge in my previous rig) as you never know when some stealership douche might just decide to ruin your day by notating in OASIS that you have a tuner. They can do that without even mentioning it to you. Better safe than sorry.

My dealer knows its gauges only and doesn't give it a second glance. I don't worry about pulling it.

Never the less, if they don't believe me I would ask them to hook the IDS up and show me where it says it found a tuner, but they generally as a rule want your business and wont harass you in the service dept. They get a lot sh&% from people for things that are out of their hands (the diesel techs) they want to get you fixed and out the door, not nit pick your choice of additional gauges.
I see your point but never the less I would still take mine out.Dealers are all different minded and I dont need the headache.Five min and its out.

Sad state of affairs when we have to get paranoid about taking the truck in for service, but alas, it is very quick to take it out and maybe worth the extra 15 seconds to undo the harness. Our dealers aren't mean, but I have had my share of customers trying to get something free and blaming the machine for the boot marks on it's doors. If a customer is honest with me and tells me what really happened, I realize stuff happens and don't charge them. I think the dealer techs are like minded, most of them. I think if one brought their vehicle in for a Nox sensor repair and they "found" that a tuner had been hooked up, not sure if the tech could elect not to put it in report it in OASIS or does the IDS print everything out it found or uploads somewhere. Indeed it would be very serious breach of trust if a tech did mistake the Edge for a tuner and "recorded" it in OASIS and then that caused warranty problems down the road. I would be really wizzed off.
