I have a 2007 150 4.2 V6. Bought it new but since I drive a company truck most of the time I only have 44k miles. I have the K & N filter kit and Flow Masters on it. I have noticed the mileage dropping some. I have changed the plugs already. It runs great and idles great, (no missing). Before I take it to a shop for the high cost of diagnostic I thought I would see if you guys had any ideas?

Thanks,
What is the drop in mileage you are experiencing??
My 05 5.4L is at 70k miles and I get about 12 mpg in town and 16 highway. I too changed plugs, have a k&n and dual MBRP cat back exhaust plus a custom tuned edge. I'm sure some of the drop is due to the ethanol in the fuel and the winter blend that's out.
Have you made any changes to your truck other than what you listed??
I was getting about 15-16 mpg in the city then I noticed it started dropping down to about 11-12. I did change the tires. I went with a all terrain, but the same size as the Michelins that were on there. The drop started before the new tires. I know it's not a big drop but it's still a drop. When I put an air scoop and opened the exhaust on my bike I put a fuel manager on it and it helped a lot. Thinking I should do the same with the truck.
my commute to work is 40 miles round trip. I average 12 to 15 mpg in winter, & roughly 18 in warmer months, & have managed a best of 21.5 on a trip with air on in summer, I do use cheap gas, & drive very easy, and I am rolling on 20" wheels. my truck is a 2004 Roush with 5.4 and automatic
