Thanks everyone for your comments and sharing your knowledge. I think I will be going with the Electric-Life set up. Now to figure out what switches will look the best. I am watching JEFFFAFA's thread on that. Thanks again

Those chrome ones Hio posted might not be too bad for ya. They look nice. Since I've been a Ford Partsman since 1977 I bleed Ford Blue. I just couldn't get myself to put GM style switches in My Bump. My fingers would prolly Sizzle every time I touched them!

The armrests out of the 87-93 Mustangs fit the trucks very well. They have a pull handle hole right where the door handle is in the 68-72 models. Then if you get a power window switch kit they can be easily added by a little file and some patience. I had to put a spacers under the main mount bolt holes which were not even visible when installed. I never uploaded pictures to this site, maybe this weekend i can play with it and try to post some pictures of my door panels. The best part is they are very cheap and easy to come by. They look at home in the truck and are even Ford parts. If you like the factory switches they are easy to adapt to because the Mustangs used a separate lock harness so if you get that its super easy to install power windows

Postmortum I would love to see what your door panels look like. That might be just what I am looking for.

I will see if I can get some pictures up this weekend of the armrests and door panels. I'll try and pull out the regulator and get a measurement and pic of the tab I welded in the regulator also. I did it quite a while ago but i remember it was a 1 inch tab and it was close to gear side to clear the window channel. I will try and read how to post pics tonight...lol The Mustang armrests are really cool looking in the truck, they look very at home imo.
